BMCC Library FAQs

If you are interested in applying for Federal Work-Study (FWS) for the 2025-26 academic year (Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026), please complete the FWS appeal form (use your BMCC email login to sign in). To check your Work-Study eligibility, you must have a 2025-26 FAFSA (Financial aid application) on file. In addition, you must be registered at BMCC for at least 6 credits and meet SAP. 

After completing the FWS appeal form, you will be put on our waiting list. If we are able to give you a Federal Work-Study offer, we will send you an email with the placement information.

Note: FWS offers are given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Due to funding restrictions, FWS may not be offered to all eligible students.  Receiving a FWS offer does not guarantee a job.
