How do I get Wi-Fi access with Eduroam?

After 8:00 PM on October 9, 2025, ALL eduroam users must reinstall/upgrade their device configurations or they will lose eduroam access.

This is a security certificate replacement, which means current configurations will stop working after the maintenance window. Users cannot simply reconnect—they must use the Configuration Assistant Tool to install the updated certificate. Users must update all devices (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.) by visiting https://cat.eduroam.org and following the prompts to download and install the new configuration. Instructions are also available at www.cuny.edu/eduroam.

If users report eduroam problems starting Friday, the solution is to direct them to reinstall their eduroam configuration using the CAT tool at https://cat.eduroam.org This is not a network outage—it's an expired certificate on their device.
