BMCC Library FAQs

To Reset Chromebooks:

• Turn on the Device
• Press and hold down CTRL, ALT, SHIFT and the letter R at the same time
• The option to 'Powerwash' will pop up
• Confirm Powerwash and wait for the Chromebook to restart

If the reset is successful, you will see a white screen with the Google Chrome Logo in the center when it turns on.

To Reset iPads:

• Turn on the device
• Make sure the iPad is connected to WiFi or the reset will fail
• Sign out of iCloud and Find My Device or the reset will fail
• Go to Settings Menu
• Select General
• Select option to Reset
• Confirm Reset 

If the reset is successful, the iPad should return to a configuration screen asking the user to select language.
