How do I submit an E-Reserve request for my students?

If you are a faculty member who would like to put materials on E-Reserve, the instructions below will walk you through how to submit a request so we can make materials available for your students.

  1. Go to our E-Reserve Request form
  2. Enter your name and email address
  3. Select the course the materials are for. You can either use the list, or add the course information manually.
    Course info (step 2) with a list of existing courses you can select. Or you can chose to "enter it manually instead"
  4. Enter information about the book, chapter, article, or whatever it is you're putting on reserve.
    Item info and Display info options. Name and Type are highlighted as they're required.
    • You only need to provide the name and resource type. Everything else is optional except:
      • For book chapters, please include the pages under additional information (unless you're providing your own scans)
      • For online resources, please include the URL
  5. Submit your request. (You can repeat the last steps as many times as needed.)
    Screen showing that the request has been recieved. You can request another item, change courses, or start over from scratch.
