How can I find articles for my research project?

A good way to get started is to use the Library's search engine, OneSearch, which searches many databases for books, articles, and more. You can use it to find books both in print and electronically, as well as online articles.

For more focused research go to the database list by subject and select the subject that best fits your topic.  Choose one of the databases from the "Best Bets" list to get started.  You might also want to check out one of the library's guides for more suggestions on where to search.

And most importantly, ask a librarian for help!  A librarian is available to help you anytime the library is open.  You can also email, call the reference desk (212-220-8139), or make an appointment with a librarian.
