How do I borrow a textbook?

We have two options for borrowing textbooks.

1. Current editions are kept behind the circulation desk.  They can be used for up to three hours.

  • To see if we have a book, search for the title in OneSearch, the library's search engine.
    • (Don't Know the Title of a Textbook? Use the BMCC Bookstore website to find the title.)

2. Past editions are available in the Textbooks section across from the circulation desk.  You will also need a call number to find those books on the shelf.

In addition, chapter readings may be available for your course on E-Reserve. If they're not, you can request a scan of a chapter.
